# SmartMed verwelkomt George van Limbeek

**George (uitgesproken als Sjors) gaat bij SmartMed de functie van Technical Product Owner vervullen.**

Hij heeft een achtergrond in Communication Systems/ Digital Communication. In zijn laatste functie werkte George als Product Owner en Teamleider van technisch applicatiebeheer bij BVGO-ICT.

Daarvoor is hij gedurende ruim 8 jaar werkzaam geweest als technisch applicatiebeheerder bij het Deventer Ziekenhuis. Hier heeft hij veel brede kennis opgedaan van ICT binnen de zorg. Zo is hij vanuit de techniek onder andere betrokken geweest bij de implementatie van een patiëntenportaal en de migratie naar een nieuw EPD.

Met zijn ICT-achtergrond en brede ervaring in de zorg gaat George naast zijn rol van Technical Product Owner voor het integratieteam ook als DevOps Engineer het service team ondersteunen. SmartMed is blij met deze stap in de professionalisering van haar dienstverlening.
