MCV Nederland (centre for gastrointestinal and liver diseases) and SmartMed signed an agreement on 17 February 2021 for the use of 'SmartMed Clinic', our recently launched medication management system for independent treatment centres.
SmartMed Clinic offers MCV a secure system for the efficient prescription and administration of medication by doctors and nurses. Gerrit-Jan Verbeek, director of MCV: "With SmartMed Clinic we can guarantee the medication safety of our patients, from the time of the appointment until the completion of the treatment." Thanks to the link with the LSP (National Exchange Point), medication data can already be retrieved and verified prior to a treatment. SmartMed Clinic also offers the possibility to digitally send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy.
Together we will focus on the implementation at MCV in the coming weeks. We are happy with the trust and look forward to a successful collaboration.
