Kroon Kliniek Lelystad, medical treatment centre for gastrointestinal and liver diseases, and SmartMed agreed on 1 February 2022 to implement the SmartMed Clinic medication management system.
SmartMed Clinic makes it possible to electronically receive and send a medical dossier and to electronically prescribe medication, both inpatient and outpatient settings. With SmartMed Clinic, doctors and nurses of the Kroon Kliniek Lelystad can prescribe and administer medication safely and efficiently.
The link with the LSP makes it possible to retrieve medication data from a patient prior to an intake interview. These are verified during the visit. After this, pre-medication can easily be prescribed, with medication monitoring taking place. If necessary, medication can also be temporarily stopped. With SmartMed Clinic, Kroon Kliniek Lelystad works completely digitally. Prescriptions are also sent digitally to the pharmacy.
