# Link SmartMed-CareSoft and MediCheck

**A link has been established between the FarmaSys pharmacy information system of SmartMed-CareSoft and MediCheck (the electronic administration registration system for healthcare). Both parties have joined forces to digitally exchange the transfer of data on the paper administration list.**

 

The coupling was put into operation immediately. Pharmacy De Asselsestraat was the first to connect the clutch and is enthusiastic:  

"For our pharmacies, it is necessary to implement innovations that increase medication safety for the patient. Through the cooperation with MediCheck, healthcare organizations have a live link to our pharmacies, so changes in medication are immediately visible to the healthcare professional and there is always an up-to-date medication overview of the patient. For each medication, the photo and corresponding leaflet are shown and a digital request for double-checking for high-risk medication can be sent to remote colleagues."
