FarmaSys release 5.0

FarmaSys release 5.0
In January the new version 5.0 of FarmaSys was successfully released. This release includes several new functionalities, the most important development being the repeat module.

Repeat module

In this release, the Pro Active Repeat Module (PHM) has been drastically renewed. FarmaSys anticipates the working method that will become the standard within a Pharmacy Information System in the near future: Medication Process 9. On the basis of a medication agreement in the form of a source prescription, new dispensations are derived and automatically generated after a control routine has examined all the substances to be dispensed. Preference, personal assortments, availability and legal requirements are all checked in advance. External checks (such as N-Alerts) are also included in this process and Central Filling solutions are integrated. In short, a new, complete and efficient way to provide medication!

The PHM will soon be further expanded with the possibility to send authorisation requests electronically to the general practitioners. This is expected to be realized in release 5.1.

Improved communication FMD

Communication with the FMD has been improved, making the scanning of drugs less invasive within daily routines. For example, the possibility has been created to have barcodes reported to the NMVS in the background. The processes in the pharmacy are then disrupted as little as possible. The deregistration can be set as desired. Errors can also be dealt with; the relevant prescription can be called up directly in the handling screen. It is currently being investigated which reports can be made available to support this process.

Declaration of performance 70000

A next feature is the easy declaration of a performance 70000 (in case a drug has been prepared but not delivered after consultation with doctor and patient). Of course this is only declared after consultation with doctor and patient.
