# SmartMed begrüßt George van Limbeek

**George (sprich: Sjors) wird die Position des Technical Product Owner bei SmartMed übernehmen.**

Er hat einen Hintergrund in Kommunikationssystemen/ digitaler Kommunikation. In seiner letzten Position arbeitete George als Product Owner und Teamleiter des technischen Anwendungsmanagements bei BVGO-ICT.

Davor arbeitete er mehr als 8 Jahre lang als technischer Anwendungsmanager im Deventer Ziekenhuis (Krankenhaus). Hier erwarb er ein breites Wissen über IKT im Gesundheitswesen. Aus technischer Sicht war er an der Einführung eines Patientenportals und der Migration zu einem neuen EPD beteiligt.

Mit seinem IKT-Hintergrund und seiner umfassenden Erfahrung im Gesundheitswesen wird George das Serviceteam als DevOps Engineer zusätzlich zu seiner Rolle als Technical Product Owner für das Integrationsteam unterstützen. SmartMed freut sich über diesen Schritt in der Professionalisierung seiner Dienstleistungen.
